Back in November of 2021, I drove north of the cities to Grandpa’s Pool House: a time capsule built in 1980 being brought back to life from one powerhouse woman, Eva. Eva and I hit if off immediately. She gave me the full tour of the home, which I am proud to say I will be staying at this summer, and I spent a few hours photographing all that I could on film. I shot both a mix of 35mm and 120 film on various cameras. Afterward, we went to the local bar/restaurant “in town” and drank pints of beer next to some taxidermy. It was perfect.
